If you love designing, planning, and decorating rooms for the rest of your life, then yes! Interior design is a profession that requires an in depth understanding of shapes and color theory. Successful designers know how to balance positive optical illusions with practical furniture layouts. It's also important to consider the whole range of factors when designing an interior - do people typically use this room? What type of activities happen in here? There are four different types; utilitarian, social (presentation), ceremonial (ritual purpose or celebratory), and aesthetic (self-reflection).

You can always start by understanding the basics of what interior designers do. You can also just take it one step at a time, and if you're not sure about something, don't worry! Interior design is creative work done in large part with your hands. To be successful in this profession means having patience and perseverance- so take advantage of opportunities to learn skills in areas you want to try out without worrying about missing anything or getting bored. If you need help deciding what kind of subject matter to study in school, think about what kinds of things interest you most. Do you like painting? Drawing? Designing color schemes that go well together? This might sound strange at first, but paintings are designed too!

answer: Yes. As an interior designer, you'll be able to work with clients to create rooms that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and comfortable. Whether it's a office space for a small business or apartment living room setup, interior design is the key to creating spaces that live up their potential. Take your pick! You'll get things like carpentry skills, how to help people decide what furniture fits best in their home, how colors should be combined so everything looks cohesive-it takes years of study and practice before you can really call yourself an expert at this sort of thing.

Probably not. Interior design is a profession with high barriers to entry. From an employer's perspective, an interior designer needs at least one of the following qualifications- they must have completed degree level programs in architecture or interior design; they must be Registered Interior Designers or Accredited Professional with the AIA or AIAS; they must have completed degree level programs in architecture and four years of apprenticeship training with Masters Level experience; they can be exempt if their work leads to the completion of a postgraduate degree program within five years. Is this something you can commit to? If yes, then it sounds like you will become an Interior Designer!

What an excellent question. First of all, you have a passion for the field and that's really important to have when trying something new. In my experience, it takes a certain type of person to be successful in this line of work - someone with a natural intuition for blending styles and colors together harmoniously, someone who is attentive to detail and who loves the trial-and-error aspect of design project management. It's also vitally important that you understand how people read spaces - architecture affects our moods but most importantly it can even block out distractions or welcome us into a space where we feel comfortable living our lives every day.

The answer is simple, one has the power to change her surroundings by designing her own bedroom or living room if she chooses.
