Interior Design and Architecture. Interior design and architecture, the art of designing the interior of a building, has evolved over centuries. Once upholstery was involved in this field but that is no longer true. Architectural companies needed to find companies which were willing to work with them on their products so they started working with furniture makers such as Stickley who could create wood tables for parties or other events. Nowadays interior design boards are still keeping up with current trends which includes designs from international award-winning architects such as Miho Shimizu's Chandelier House.

I work with clients to create spaces that suit their needs. I do take into consideration the colors, textures, and fabrics that suit the home's style and personality. I also factor in architectural details like space, light, slope of landscape outside windows, orientation of rooms/building for views/sunlight etc., elevation changes on site (and how these affect drainage) as well as walkways/porches or other extensions to the house. There are so many different things I keep in mind! For example..is this a family who prefers natural materials? Do they prefer modern furniture to update their current look? What about color schemes? Lightness or darkness of color schemes? Etc etc.

Answer:
The University of Copenhagen offers a Master's in Design Professions which is designed for international students. The design profession includes people who are qualified to design new products, environments, systems and services through the following disciplines: Architecture / Interior Architecture, Product Design & Graphic Communication Design. With this in mind you can find more information on the program website.
However, in order to enroll in the program you’ll need to hold either a 4-year Bachelor or 5-year Masters degree that comprehensively covers fundamental analysis skills with analytical thinking skills for one of these two professions listed above. If requirements are met an interview will be arranged where you'll have the opportunity to present your portfolio as well as talk about yourself and your past

At this point, I'm aware that it's not easy to just get an interior designer degree. It requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Therefore, I would suggest getting your bachelor's in something that you truly enjoy and will help you to meet your goals for the future. For example, if you want to become an interior designer but don't know how yet, take marketing classes instead so that someday when the opportunity comes up for you to be enrolled in an interior design course, you can apply what you learn from those marketing courses and complete your bachelor's degree much faster than somebody who doesn't have any background knowledge in the subject matter at all. Keep in mind - education is key!

What interior designer study? What do you like about this question. If you're looking for a specific designer, I recommend reading the latest issues of design magazines and checking out their websites too. If you're just curious what different kinds of designers study, I recommend checking out some undergraduate degree programs--see which ones might suit your interests! Any good school that offers an interior design major should also offer other majors in related fields such as architectural history, merchandising and fashion merchandising, etc. These alternatives give students additional information and background so they can choose to pursue a range of options once they graduate--as well as figure out which talent or interest really resonates with them most deeply.
