The interior design market is presently in a state of economic expansion, which has seen the need for qualified professionals. After you graduate with your degree in interior design, your job prospects are phenomenal. Your creativity and planning skills will be highly sought after in every sector where people spend time looking at their surroundings - hotels, restaurants, hospitals, offices and schools to name just a few. There's also an increasing retail trend towards "dwelling spaces" - homes that double as boutique stores; showrooms; shops; restaurants or bars - where architects are increasingly needed for the initial design stages. Ultimately there's never been a better time to go into this area of work if you like creative freedom and challenging briefs. The alternative?

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the need for qualified designers is expected to grow faster than average between 2012 and 2022 due to retirement, more people moving into new homes, etc., so an interior design career is definitely a smart choice. The Bureau of Labor Statistics also predicts that employment will increase by 10% during this time period, which means an increase in positions available for licensed professionals in the field. So there are opportunities not only for current designers but also for people just entering into it! You can find more information about these predictions on their website here .

Last week, my husband left for work in the morning and I was in our bedroom at home. The kids were playing in their rooms when the vacuum cleaner sounded loudly from the hall way. It turns out that they had stuffed a large roll of toilet paper into it which is why it refused to stop making noise. I opened up my closet and ran around trying to figure out where I could place this massive piece of black plastic tubing but couldn't find anything that would serve as its container. The entire time these two little pieces of fluff knew what they were doing and continued playing like nothing happened. All this because we live with five people who don't know how to clean up after themselves!

One of the most satisfying aspects of being an interior designer is learning how to redecorate other people's spaces while leaving their home intact. Interior designers work closely with clients who need help deciding what should be torn down and what needs to stay, which colors should go where, and how much space should be left for special items. One might assume that there are better career options out there but in recent years, the demand for interior decorators has been higher than ever before. America at large faces a constant accommodation crisis - not enough housing being built fast enough to serve demand - so if you have the skill set to work on mixed-use residential or commercial projects, your job could hardly get any clearer!

Interior design is one of the best careers for people who are creative, detail-oriented, and organized. The best interior designers are able to balance the needs of their clients with good design instincts. An aspiring designer should also remember that an interior designer has experience in many other fields including architecture, fine arts, fashion, etiquette among others. The qualities you can pick up from these different professions will help your development as an introvert if you have that tendency or simply by improving your attitude towards other people's feelings and behavior patterns.
