    Answer: View cut-offs depend on the size of your monitor as well as how you have SketchUp set up. To find out more about how to control view settings, please visit this website
    The path to manipulating View tool settings is found within SketchUp's Preferences menu and includes:
    View Tool Settings: Set this window to pop open when the View toolbar is invoked and options for scaling and rotating, specifying colors, or choosing a 3D plane for viewing;
    Floor Options: Allows users of the Floor command features to "walk" around over a rendered floor plan. The use of these floors can also be made with Standard Tool (F5) allowing one to better see individual parts such as plumbing fixtures & fittings.

    SketchUp cuts your view off at the top and bottom of objects to make things easier for you. SketchUp does this because otherwise, in certain situations when scaling up or down an object, it would cut off more area than is necessary too. It sometimes can be irritating when you are trying to show something in one specific scale but when you close the boundaries they disappear. But usually there's a work around where even if it seems frustrating in that moment, that is only temporary until SketchUp goes back to its original state. Remember that SketchUp was designed with space efficiency in mind, so cutting areas shouldn't come as a surprise!

    When exporting a SketchUp file for use in another rendering program, it is important that the scale and origin point of the SketchUp model is properly adjusted. If your scale and origin point are not adjusted, then any exported objects will appear as they were originally sized and positioned at their original location. This means that the exported sketchup object would cut off instead of wrap around. The installation location can cause very specific errors to occur such as this one because where you install software on your computer affects how certain files behave. One way to work around these problems until they can be corrected is to simply copy slider-specific data from .sketchup6rc into .

    SketchUp is a software that allows users to create 3D models of existing objects or imaginary creations, in much the same way that CAD software can be used. It includes adjustable properties for surface geometry but does not offer true parametric programming features. The vast majority of what you're seeing is limitations of the developer's engine, and limitation of SketchUp's capabilities as a modelling tool. It works well for quick modeling of complex shapes (especially if you want to extrapolate data from an existing model), but it doesn't compare favorably to more generalized tools - such as Rhino3d - when it comes to creating new geometry or scripting with Python scripting language.

    Your SketchUp file does not have a width/height on the units of measure, so the total size of your screen is less than the size of your file. To fix this page layout settings are at issue. Find some layouts that have more text space or install plugins to merge some lines together for better readability. For example try using 'split line' plugin on sketchup view cut off. specific text length issues you can use plugins like Table Lines to increase readability by breaking up complex tables into smaller segments or Leaner Columns which formats columnar texts one column per single word. Note these are typesetting suggestions only your content may dictate different needs and fixes.
