Type components into the search bar before adding them to the project. This will make them easier to find when needed. Connections can be made by pressing Control click (on PC) or Command click (on Mac) on the component and then clicking in a blank space in your project window where you want it placed. Once this process is complete, right-click anywhere in your project window and select 'merge' from the drop down menu that appears, then follow these instructions:. 1.) All of your extra components will still be in a folder below named 'extra components'. Select all of those so they are highlighted, using Control [or Command] A to highlight all at once if you have more than one item selected.

I can use Sketchup in 3D to show you where the components are in the scene. I will need to know what items you want me to represent and when you want any interactions with these objects. Additionally, when working with Sketchup, please remember (1) all sizes and distances in a model are based on units of measurement which can be hidden within the toolbar; (2) rotating an object is accomplished by moving your cursor away from or towards it; (3) scaling an object is done by clicking on an area outside it then dragging; and finally, (4) panning is achieved by using your fingers on a touch screen device. For complete instructions see tutorials listed under Help for this application.
