Sketchup does not have a built-in renderer. That being said, there are many decent plug-ins for Sketchup that can provide some pretty decent rendering options. For example, Lagoa Renderer 3D has pretty good reviews and renders very quickly with minimum graphics card compatibility considerations. Or you could try out Maxwell Pro, which provides affordable software to render 3D images of your house plans to help ensure they're what you're after before the work commences, saving you time and money in the long run!

No, SketchUp does not have a built-in renderer. However you can easily install one. One of the top available renderers is Octane for SketchUp which offers rendering speeds up to 22x faster than Photoshop. All that is needed is downloading the file containing the .rb extension and then placing it into this folder in your SketchUp 2016 or 2017 directory under "plugins". Plugin folders are usually found under C:ProgramDataSketchUpPlugins but you can also run File Explorer (Windows) by pressing Windows Key + E at any time and enter "sketchup plugin path" to find them quickly.

SketchUp has a built in renderer that can be turned off. No, sketchup does not have a built in renderer. A renderer will provide the best visual representation of sketch up, but rendering requires more computational power than an animation view does. SketchUP Tools for Google Earth allows you to overlay your design with satellite images and render it at any stage during construction; 3D Warehouse provides various models available for purchase or download; some users also use external programs like PV LED Professional-Grade Renderers (without sending files) or exporting files to be rendered externally by third party software packages such as FBX Previewer, LuxRender or IRender nXt Houdini Edition.

Does sketchup have a built in renderer? SketchUp has an integrated Built-in Renderer. We call it PhotoStyler, but this is still the name of the underlying technology under the hood. SketchUp file types include SKP for models, PLY for meshes, RPF for particles and PDF EXR images. Use one of these formats when exporting your Sketch Up model to another application or service that includes its own renderer or export directly to .x2d format so any RenderMan-compliant viewer can render it back with photorealistic results!

No, sketchup does not have a built in renderer. I'm getting this question often these days, so here are just a few little things that might help out. There are lots of different rendering software programs you could use to render your 3D model into an image. To see just how much really good rendering software is available for ALL budgets, do the following search on the internet: 3d renderings or architecture renderings or architectural renderings - it will REALLY open your eyes to what's possible! I've used Amit - which was absolutely excellent and cost me about $12mo. Crane also offers some great rendering options at various budget levels..

Yes. SketchUp's renderer is built into the Modeling environment, meaning that no special plug-ins are needed to create realistic renders of your SketchUp models. This feature comes at a cost however, if you want to use advanced rendering features like shadows, lights or reflective materials you'll need an external renderer. For this reason sketchup's built-in renderer can't compare to blender or substance painter for high fidelity content creation.
