I pursued interior design because it combined everything that attracted me to my other interests, such as colors, designs, textures, style - not only in fashion but also architecture. I believe this field encompasses it all. It is rewarding when it comes together on paper or during first into reality - like a puzzle!

I always loved the arts and even majored in dance for three years at a university before deciding to switch major.

I believe that an interior designer's work flows in a way that is different than any other artist or designer, and it offers a unique opportunity to bring order, form and greater human meaning through one's eye for color coordination.
Creating environments where people can thrive, relaxing them at home when they're stressed and maybe even sparking their imagination - these things have always been the focal point of my designs. To me the idea was irresistible!

I became an interior designer because I enjoy designing and am able to see beauty in the smallest details which is essential for this profession.
I have always been fascinated by design - captivated by the colors and textures of different homes. It just felt right when I found myself studying color theory and materials for school projects, looking at pictures of home décor magazines during my free time, or curating my own small art gallery in high school. Through these experiences it became clear to me that design was something that would lead me down a new path, one that is constantly challenging but fulfilling, with many obstacles to break through but even more opportunities to create.

I became an interior designer because it was a career that met my needs and interests in art, design, color harmony, and the building trade. Interior design is a very broad term. There are many different types of designers - industrial designers create products; architectural designers focus on the built environment; graphic artists work with images and motion graphics, etc. Most designers have a specialty of some kind. This includes interior design which is largely focused on the private space - homes or commercial properties such as offices or stores.
