You can study architecture in a four year bachelor's degree program. There are also many schools that provide 2 year Masters programs for training architects. Many architecture degree programs have the option to specialize in an area by taking classes such as architectural history, and designing residential/commercial interiors. If you want to become an interior designer, you will need at least 8 years of education after high school (that breaks down to 4 years of undergraduate studies and then 4 years of graduate school).

If you want to become an architect and interior design, you'll need to have a lot of math skills. You'll also need the ability to be creative, a thirst for knowledge, passion for what you do, determination. You should major in architecture and take as many courses on structural engineering and municipal design as possible with specialization in architectural science or building technology. Be sure that architecture is your only choice because it does not have many ranks besides artists-in-residence at prominent art museums or educational institutions. But if you really want to make it work just like anyone else.

Becoming an architect is a lengthy process, and usually includes a bachelor's or master's degree. For interior design, on the other hand, a BA is not required - but an associate degree like A.A.S in Interior Design as well as experience designing would be nice. Regarding credentials for being an interior designer, if you're at least 18 years old and have graduated high school then you can apply to take the DLAB exam in your state or provincial capital (there are typically different requirements depending on which country/state you live in). There are clear guidelines of what type of experience qualifies someone to take this exam - for example experience working with residential clients vs commercial clients will provide different levels of experience points for qualification purposes.

There are a number of ways to become an architect. The first step is typically to get a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from university, where you will learn the basic skills which you will need in order to start and run your own business. Some universities offer students the chance to gain practical experience by studying (usually during summer vacation) at an established architectural firm or working on site on a real construction project. One possible route for those with no relevant experience would be for them to do a work placement after completing their studies as part of their apprenticeship training; this should include the design and drawing phase, structural evaluation, and other technical elements associated with engineering.

It is always easier to become an architect when you have a bachelor's degree in architecture or can portfolio of well-designed buildings or homes. It is also common for architects who are concentrating on interior design to be educated in art history and design theory including color and texture consideration, and materials used historically. An architectural arts degree might be more helpful than a web design certificate, but they're not mutually exclusive either.
