To use Sketchup for interior design, you need to be able to do the following:

-Use the basic tools to create and manipulate objects. These include the select tool, move tool, scale tool, rotate tool, and perspective tool.

-Create primitive objects such as lines, rectangles, circles, and polygons.

-Extrude and push/pull objects to give them thickness and turn them into 3D shapes.

-Use the orbit tool to rotate your view of the scene.

-Use the pan tool to move your view around without changing your perspective.

-Add materials to objects using the paint bucket tool or by importing images.
