Creating a 3D rendering in AutoCAD is a fairly simple process, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First, make sure that your drawing is in 3D space by setting the View command to 3D. Next, select the objects that you want to include in your rendering and group them together. Once you have your objects grouped, go to the Render command and select the type of rendering you want to create. Finally, adjust the lighting and perspective as desired and hit render. The first step is to create a 3D wireframe. This can be done by using the commands found under the " wireframe " command, such as line, xline, circle, pline etc. To change a view from 2D to 3D wireframe press F3.
After you have created the basic 3D shape of your model using the wireframe commands, it is time to start adding some surfaces. AutoCAD has two main types of 3D surfaces - SOLID and Mesh.
