A bed. One should always have a bed in their bedroom, regardless of design theme.
A lamp on a table or nightstand so as to make it easier for people to find what they are looking for at night when their eyes are tired from staring at the TV or computer screen all day. In today's world, most bedrooms have natural lighting but still need the added light for good reading and safety reasons alike if more than one person lives in the home and both want to use the common area as well.
Mirrors close by--along with plants! Having mirrors adjacent to decorative niches somehow makes them stand out and look nicer than if they were just straight up against a wall.

Well, It's a really tough question and depends on your personal style and preferences. For me personally, I find it best to keep the room as crisp and clean as possible. Less is more when it comes to bedroom design in my opinion - too many items cluttering the space will shrink the space overall and make the visual look cluttered.
I also like cherry wood furniture because of how soft it looks with its warm coloring. And you'll want t give you bedroom a punch of color that sets off any one side of walls or other details, even if maybe just some pillows recolor an old favorite set! Interior design is all about experimenting for preference sake so only go with what makes sense for yourself!

Interior design and décor can complement the mood a bedroom sets. A bright, airy room with minimal accessories is a great choice for those who need to wake up in the morning. Alternatively, a sleeping space with heavy curtains and warm bedding can be inviting at night.

Just about any size of bed for starters. Bedrooms should have both natural lighting and lots of windows so that the morning sun can wake you up and the evening sunlight can help you wind down. A walk-in closet is nice for clothes, but note that a bedroom closet leads to cluttering issues because there are no restrictions on what goes in there.
Lighting around your headboard is necessary, or else you might find yourself waking up in the middle of the night with a sore neck due to poor lighting while reading or snacking before bedtime. It's also important to be able to close off one side of bedroom if desired (e.g., when wanting some privacy, simply closing doors).

The list below is just a sample of things she had in her family’s bedroom.

    1) A comfortable mattress and pillows that let you sleep well
    2) Comfortable sheets, soft enough to feel good against your skin
    3) An alarm clock near your bed so you can wake up from it without needing to turn on the lights
    4) Mirrors on the ceiling or walls to make your room light-filled and brighter
    5) Holds (almost like shelves but with a hole at top for storing clothes/sweat shirts, etc.) for what ever you may need while doing your best friend’s hair
    6) A dresser with mirrors so that is convenient when people dress

A sense of peace and calm is something that everyone seeks after a long day. A personal sanctuary may not be achievable all the time, but there are surely steps one can take to improve their surroundings - for instance by adding decor elements with warm colors like reds, oranges or yellows. What looks best will depend entirely on your personal taste; just take the time to find out what's best for you!
