Yes. I hate the trend of open concept kitchens and living spaces. I think it's ugly, impractical, and socially isolating.
Open concept kitchens and living spaces are all the rage right now, but I think they're ugly and impractical. They're ugly because they involve a lot of exposed surfaces that can easily become cluttered or messy. They're impractical because they often don't have enough storage space, which means that people have to store their dishes, pots and pans, food, etc. in their bedrooms or bathrooms. And they're socially isolating because they encourage people to spend most of their time in the kitchen or living room instead of in the more private areas of their homes like their bedrooms or studies.

I absolutely despise the trend of using dark colors in interior design. It's so depressing and makes a space feel much smaller and cozier than it actually is. I also don't like the trend of using a lot of textures in a single space. It makes the room feel cluttered and uncomfortable.

There are a few specific trends in interior design that I can't stand. One is the use of reclaimed wood as a flooring material. I think it looks really cheesy and fake, and it's not very practical because it's so difficult to keep clean.
Another trend that I dislike is the use of velvet upholstery. It always looks really heavy and dated to me, and it's not particularly comfortable or stylish either.

I'm not a big fan of the mid-century modern look. It's too stark for my taste, and it doesn't really work in most spaces.
I also don't like the rustic chic trend that's been popular lately. It just feels a bit too country for me, and I prefer a more sleek and polished aesthetic.

I don't really have any specific trends in interior design that I hate, but I think a lot of minimalist designs can be really boring. A room or space should be a reflection of the people who live there, and it should feel like home. So I prefer interiors that are a little more eclectic and personal.

I'm not a fan of the trend of using reclaimed wood in interior design. I think it can look really cool in certain cases, but often it just looks like they didn't bother to refinish the wood properly and it's kind of just...chippy. Plus, there's something about the texture of reclaimed wood that makes it difficult to clean.
I also don't like the trend of using a lot of different patterns and textures in one space. It can make a room feel busy and cluttered. My ideal interior design style is simple and minimalistic with a focus on texture instead of pattern.
