There's a lot of wonderful points to going into interior design- freedom of creativity, working with interesting people and challenging yourself to new ideas every day. If you're passionate about houses and making people feel comfortable in their own spaces, then I think interior design is definitely the career for you! I suggest doing some research on different aspects of the job (residential vs. commercial design, solo vs. team projects, different design styles) and seeing if any blogger or YouTuber in the field has information that could help you make your decision.
