If it were me, I would do an undergraduate landscape architecture program from a reputable country in Europe- at one of those top schools like Wageningen University or Umea University. You could also apply to Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD). Either way, I recommend visiting both schools to see which suits you more! But once you have obtained your bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, get yourself a master's degree in urban design! It won't take as long as going for the two degrees separately.

The traditional undergraduate course in the United Kingdom takes a four-year degree with a year on industry placement.
Landscape architects are concerned with the relationship between people and space, as well as the social, cultural and aesthetic impacts of public spaces. They work primarily at urban scale to balance environmental factors with social needs. They also work on private sites such as garden landscapes for hotels, gated communities or individual homeowners. In addition to traditional site visits and computer modelling techniques landscape architects use two contrasting spatial design tools like graphs that show how views change over time or models that illustrate changing wind patterns will influence plant location over time.

Landscape Architects are often required for public and private spaces in order to integrate design, architecture, social science and environmental conservation. You can find yourself working on a beach one day and in the countryside the next if you take up this profession! Like any other career path, landscape architecture demands dedication and persistence with a site course providing an overview of many different concepts which include ecology, drafting, engineering drawing as well as surveying.

Landscape Architects are experts in the science of locating, designing, and managing developments of space. They also have a strong understanding of plants and their cultivation.
As with any other career path, becoming a landscape architect requires being well versed in her or his field. To become a landscape architect you will need to complete degrees in architecture or horticulture as well as pass major examinations on construction management and planning (like an A-Levels).
