Some people think that they should keep it all similar (colors, furnishings) but this can cause a boring and bland look which is not desirable. Others are inclined to mix it up a little bit in their own way with different colors and/or furniture but still maintain decorating styles in all rooms if possible. Deciding what will work best for your needs depends mostly on what type of person you are and how much free time you want to put into maintaining consistency or originality across every room in your home.

Designing interiors to match the exterior of a building can work, providing you know the following:
- how and why vernacular architecture has evolved
- what novelty elements might be appropriate to contemporary living (images, colours)
- what threads should be combined for optimum effect (affordable items) * eg. authentic with modern day flair or industrial with natural touches. *remember never look outdated so harmonise both old and new!

It's common to fall prey to something called "face-matching," also known as the mere-exposure effect. The mere-exposure effect explains that we prefer things in our environment that look familiar, and don't like those that are new or strange. So, in order for you to be happier with your home design, you should probably just make sure things match the architecture outside
Interior Design is what makes your house have a natural ambiance and an overall look of warmth by considering the lighting scheme, furniture selection and placement within each room. Incorporating natural elements such as plants and paintings can also contribute to this distinct aesthetic organization.

The answer depends on the behaviors of your respective target markets. Consider astrological signs, personality types, etc.
Some people care a great deal about matching their interior and exterior. If your customers are primarily mothers with children then yes they may want to bundle the two home purchases together in terms of design since it can generally be assumed that most kids' rooms will also be on the inside of the home while their living spaces will likely spend more time outside - all without having to suffer from dealing with commuters who take each other's parking spots by day and cut through each others gardens at night because they don't have a sidewalk map.

Like any major project or task, framing your interior design in the beginning can make things go smoother. The first question you should ask when designing an interior is what exterior are you starting with?
If it's a red brick facade then where would a green paint make sense inside? You want to be able to execute the color and style that brings life outside.
If there is minimal light on the exterior, luxury living on the inside may feel more like being buried alive. You don't have to limit your decorations though; just find new ways of bringing fresh air into your home with windows or skylights for example.
