It was a natural progression for me because I have always loved making things pretty. As a little girl, I would rearrange all of my furniture in my room every week and redecorate my whole house with whatever fabric scraps and craft supplies I could find.

I also grew up watching my mom design and decorate our home. She has an incredible eye for color and texture, and she taught me everything she knows about interior design. After spending so many years watching her work, it just seemed like the logical thing for me to do professionally.

For me, it was a natural decision to study interior design. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved anything creative and loved making my surroundings beautiful. I also enjoyed working with my hands and being able to create something functional and stunning from scratch.

Interior design combines all of those passions in one discipline, and allows me to be creative while also fulfilling a practical need. I love the challenge of taking a blank space and turning it into something amazing that people can enjoy every day.
