I am from the United States and I will confidently admit that American furniture is among the best in the world. But what does this mean? It could mean many things. One of these may be your preference for more aesthetic designs and less function. For example, a Scandinavian design typically has a clean line to it with minimal detail and is noted on how environmentally conscious they are in their production methods. American-designs are usually heavy, ostentatious, well detailed, intricate patterns, oversized scale with excessive ornamentation as well as empire style chairs and so forth which might not suit you if aesthetics is your number one concern or if you like contemporary designs such as minimalist ones better than traditional styles when it comes to home furnishing.

American furniture is typically affordable and easy to find
Knowing that a lot of people are interested in buying furniture, it may be useful to know more about the market they're looking at. One downside is that many stores will require you take out a 48-hour hold on any purchases, so you'll have less time to come to your decision. Potential advantages include broader availability (furniture sellers in other countries often only offer locally-produced products). On the downside, shipping costs can increase this price. So American furniture won't always be the cheapest option even when accounting for shipping rates.

    It's a mixed bag.
Furniture from the United States can vary hugely depending on the company, of course, but generally speaking American furniture on the whole is not as famous for classics and quality designs as it once was. Brands like Serta are up there and household names in furniture now--but those were founded elsewhere (plenty in Europe). The Rust-Oleum 2x project aims to change that with their Colorizer paint system; they already have 60 shades available for any scrap of wood surface to be transformed into solid wood surfaces with colors close enough to reproduce classic carefree days at your own home outside and inside!

It's a matter of opinion, because quality is primarily determined by the eye of the beholder. This said, I have to say that there are some qualities which an American producer may be more likely to excel in than an import-including affordability and efficiency. At any rate, you have taken the first steps towards learning about your options and selecting one for yourself.
