You're likely to be happy with any paint if it's not too heavy or thick and is reasonably well-spread. Mint is complementary to red, but that doesn't mean you should use mint for all your furniture. Experiment with what works best in the space and go from there. A beautifully painted room doesn't have to match perfectly; after all, you want it to feel like a home rather than a set piece of furniture or art work. The key is finding something that conveys what you love by having the right color, feeling, shadows and light - an ode to who you are.

There are so many colors for paint that it's virtually impossible to recommend a "best" color. I would advise you to look into the ways light affects which colors work best in different spaces and get inspired by some favorite interior designs before deciding. Pairing lighter, warmer tones with darker furniture and vice versa can help create a more cohesive design scheme. It's also important to consider the position of your room within the house, as certain colors might not be visible depending on where you place them (e.g. living room)

First, decide which type of paint to use. You can either choose oil-based or water-based. Oil--based paints are long lasting and resistant to fading, but they don't dry as quickly and may produce strong odors. Water based paints are typically odorless, but the colors may fade over time due sto weathering by light and impurities in the air. Most paint - whether it is an oil-based or a water based product - contains toxic chemicals that emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while drying; these VOCs could be a concern if you have respiratory problems such as asthma or allergies that affect your breathing.

The best colors for furniture on the walls depends on which items you're painting. Certain colors recede while others advance. If you want to paint furniture on the wall, then you'll need to choose a bright color that will stand out against any other color in your room like white or black. If you want to paint a bedroom with furniture, keep in mind there are some preferred trends among designers and home owners when it comes time to decide what colors should go where. Colors recede if they're light and dim; they advance if they're dark and bold. Like most rules in design though, there's always an exception.

The best paint for bedroom furniture is one that captures and enhances the natural light in the room. Often people overlook this point but it's one of the most important considerations to make when deciding on a color, as colors tend to look different depending upon how they interact with light. For instance, if you have a bright white natural light in your bedroom then you'll want a more muted color; whereas if your room has only artificial lighting (which tends to be harsher) then you can go for brighter colors. Rooms with short or direct sunlight should be lighter and less intense because otherwise it will create glare and see-through markings which are not favourable since daytime is focus time during sleep time.
