In a nutshell, yes. You can find people who have started careers without degrees in architecture. A lot of architects say that there is no way to be an architect without a degree. The minimum requirement to practice architecture is the Degree of Architecture (Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies). Typically students specialize their degree into architectural specialty areas such as interior design, for example. The best thing you can do, is look around where you live for some local architectural firms and ask them what they need (and don't forget to mention your qualifications regarding education).

Yes, you can become an interior designer without a degree. What is needed for that to happen is practice in the field or related area, experience and connections with other clients. Nowadays there are still many graduates of Architecture who go into Interior Designing because they may want to work on furniture design or something else along those lines. In addition, there are designers who focus exclusively on designing interiors of buildings - this can be someone that has come from architecture or architectural consulting. For these reasons it's possible for somebody with no degree in Architecture to become an Interior Designer if they have enough experience and connections through their career as a designer or consultant in related areas such as industrial design.

Yes. You just need to know you're doing the interior design degree, and then the details of what they call a "professional architect". Of course, to do that you'll have to go back to school for it (that is if it's not offered at your campus), which will be incredibly expensive. But all in all, with some patience and networking (and personal experience) you can become an architect without having a degree. If you're thinking about going this route think about what type of work environment you want because most architects work upwards on 3-4 years post-graduation before they've been afforded an opportunity for such things as designing hospitals or being given any independent projects within their company or employer organization.

Interior design is not a degree, but some schools offer courses in interior design and architecture. You can get an undergraduate degree in more than just architecture. You are welcome to consider other areas of study that interest you. If you have questions about the requirements for these degrees, it is best to reach out to specific schools before attending as admissions offices should be able to answer any questions about first year coursework or entrance requirements for their programs.

There are many possible ways to become an architect without a degree. The best path for you will depend on where and what you excel at. Particularly in the US, there is a sure way of becoming an architect without getting any sort of college diploma one should go through schooling and practice in interior design. This entails designing models or drawings for buildings that people live or work inside. In this particular area, architecture is a useful credential, because clients’ questions concern layout of space and usage (rather than how to frame large-scale objects).
