Home interior design is flourishing in Lagos, Nigeria. Whether you're an expert or a novice, there is no better place to learn the secrets of the trade than the University of Lagos School of Interior Designers and Decorators. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees that cover every facet of home decoration and design. From wall stencils to woodwork, students can take advantage of its diverse selection, which includes courses with both short- and long-term commitments as well as lectures from guest practictioners that continue throughout each year.

There are several professional interior design schools in Lagos (Nigeria), such as Fashion Design and Interior Decoration-Lagos, God's Determination Institute of Techniques and Designs, Apt Interior Designing Course to name a few. I'm not sure if they teach online courses though. You might want to find out more about their requirements for entrance, the hours required each week for attendance, duration of the course and whether there are openings in other cities too before making any decisions.

If you're interested in learning about interior design and furniture making, then an institution like the National School of Arts may be your best bet. They offer courses in both fields.
Overall, there just aren't many schools that focus exclusively on teaching this subject here.
Lagos is a coastal city with a huge population and very little arts community to speak of—which is why its such a shame that there's no good institution to teach interior design skills! Luckily, different branches across Nigeria take precedence in filling these gaps. Some programs are even more vocational than others.

There are different places in Lagos that offer Interior Design courses. These include the Cathedral School of Professional Management and Tech, Idi-Oseghale College of Science and Technology. I'd recommend looking around for a school with the right program, reviews, location (as interior design has a lot to do with light), cost, etc., because there are some really great schools out there. Not sure which is best for you? Get in touch on Facebook or other social media platforms! I'd be happy to help guide you through your options! And don't forget about internships - they're an excellent way to get an idea of what kind of career it is before committing full time.

This is one of the best cities in Nigeria with a growing vibrant and aesthetically pleasing interior design industry. There are several schools such as Lagos State College of art and other institutes that offer courses in interior decoration which can be your best bet. It's important to note, however, that you need to ensure they have a rigorous programme in place before enrolling on any course. This is because false or lacklustre training won't be enough for your needs and these types of programmes would eventually lead to disappointment.
