Answer : The term "modern classic interior design" is contradictory and does not exist. Modern design is traditionally based on function - making the best use of space, light, form and proportionality. The idea of a modern classic interior would be an oxymoron, as a modern design needs to address its need for dynamic movement with rigid structures in order to achieve this balance between form and function. A room which satisfies formal distinctions such as symmetry, hierarchy etc. - attributes which most often relate to classical or traditional style homes - by definition cannot at the same time be considered a "modern" design.
